Here Come the Yankees!

Well, actually, here comes Mustard Seed Migrant Ministry to visit the Yankees. As part of Con Edison Youth Clinic at Yankee Stadium, Orange and Rockland Utilities funded a trip for MSMM to the new Yankee Stadium on August 11.

 

 

The kids were permitted to go on the field and actually had a practice session and workout with some of the Yankees coaches.

 

 

 

The kids had an oppotunity to throw, hit, and catch all on the Yankee Stadium field under the direction of Yankee coaches.

 

  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Former Yankee pitcher (and, more prominently, an All-Star Met pitcher) Dwight "Doc" Gooden signed photos for many of our kids.
