Mustard Seed Migrant Ministry continued it’s long running Christmas store during this past December. Thanks to the numerous donations from our various benefactors, the migrant workers were able to purchase new clothing; toys; kitchen appliances and tools to help celebrate their holiday. The Christmas store is one of the major annual events put on by Mustard Seed.

Mustard Seed Migrant Ministry held their 4th harvest dinner and Day of the Dead celebration on November 5th at St. Francis deSales parish hall in McAfee, NJ. About 130 people attended the Mexican style buffet, and heard about the minstry and our volunteer work.
Carl Bastedo from King of Kings Lutheran Church in Syracuse, NY, gave a testimonial of his and his church’s outreach to Mustard Seed. Many people attended who are new to the ministry and will possibly become new volunteers.

On June 26, Mustard Seed hosted our second summer fiesta, bringing together many of our friends; benefactors; and colleagues. Of course; a splendid time was had by all eating; meeting up with old friends; playing games; and swimming.
Meeting around the picnic table.

MSMM Board member Gary Gray offers some words to the partygoers. Board member Diana Vasquez paraphrased the message in Spanish.

Families loved the great food and atmosphere.

A surprise visitor was the prior owner of the Mustard Seed house from 20 years ago.
And then, it was let the summer activities begin!. The Capuchins came during the week of June 26; and the King of Kings group from Syracuse came the week of July 4.
