Well, it was such a good idea and such a great time two weeks ago, so "Let's do it again". This time we'll take more kids!
So, Sunday, February 14, it was back to the Stony Ford Golf Course and Orange County Park for another day of snow tubing.

- The Christmas Store
From Thursday, December 17 to Saturday, December 19 Mustard Seed Migrant Ministry held the annual Christmas Store.

- Our Second Harvest Dinner
On November 7, Mustard Seed held our second annual Harvest Dinner at St. Francis de Sales parish hall in McAfee, NJ. 180 people enjoyed a meal of chicken; rice; tamales; pork; and refried beans and more as well. - Our Lady of Guadalupe
On Saturday, October 24, Mustard Seed hosted a procession and ceremony in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Our Lady of Guadalupe is the patron saint of the ministry, and has interceded to help and guide the mission of the ministry; especially in the building of the pool.

Mustard Seed Migrant Ministry will hold our second annual Harvest Dinner on November 7, 2009, at 6 PM at St. Francis de Sales parish hall.

- Recapping the summer

- Here Come the Yankees!
Well, actually, here comes Mustard Seed Migrant Ministry to visit the Yankees. As part of Con Edison Youth Clinic at Yankee Stadium, Orange and Rockland Utilities funded a trip for MSMM to the new Yankee Stadium on August 11.

- The Capuchins visit
During the week of June 29 to July 3, several students from the Capuchin Youth and Family Ministry in Garrison, NY, visited Mustard Seed. This has become an annual visit by the Capuchins, who do this as a service to the Mustard Seed community.

- Eating from the Garden
Our first harvest from the Gratitude Garden was accomplished on July 2. The kids created a salad consisting of lettuce; radishes; kale; nasturtium (an edible flower); basil; oregano; marigold; leeks and purslane.

- The Blessing of the Pool

- The Gratitude Garden
Through the efforts of one of Mustard Seed's fine benefactors, Dr. JoAnn Quattrone, we now have a new garden plot.
